Free Consult -  If you’d like to learn more about holistic nutrition therapy, I offer a free, 15-minute consultation so that you have the chance to understand what it would be like to work with me and ask any questions. People that benefit the most from my services have already tried conventional methods, want to avoid excessive medications, haven’t been given the attention they need and want to try a more natural approach through nutrition and holistic lifestyle modifications. Initial Consult -  Before the very first time we meet, I will have you fill out a New Client Intake Form and a 5-7 day Food Journal. These will help me get a better picture of who you are and what your health goals are. When you have completed both forms, we will schedule a time to discuss what the best plan of action is for you. I will ask many personal questions and really try to match my recommendations to your lifestyle and what you are comfortable with. With this information, I can give you a full diet analysis, sample meal plan, and a personalized protocol for you to incorporate into your daily routine. You will leave with a list of action items to get you started on your health journey. 

 

Follow-Up - After you have your diet analysis and list of recommendations, it is common for people to need additional guidance. A follow-up session will include a Progress Assessment and how you are feeling with the new changes. We will discuss things that are working well for you, things that can be added to your protocol, address things that have been challenging and find a way to make these new lifestyle habits work.

 

Email Subscription -  With this subscription you are free to ask me as many questions as you need to help you through your health journey. Some people prefer to go about change a little more independently and just need some educated guidance. You can easily ask Dr. Google, but you will end up with many conflicting answers and not know what is right for you. I require anyone who wants an email subscription to complete an initial consult so that I know more details about your situation and can better serve you.

Group Classes -  These classes are great for people who want to make a change with friends or family. With this option, you are getting hands-on instruction on how to apply these holistic habits to your life and make them work for you. In each session, you will learn a variety of strategies that will improve your health and the health of your family. 

 

Individual Package -  I want to emphasize the beauty of bioindividuality. We are all genetically different in slight ways, have lived very different lifestyles and come from different cultures. This means there is no one right way to live and eat. One person may do well on a paleo type diet, while others might thrive on a plant-based diet. We will go in-depth into your personal health goals and find ways to optimize your health through nutrition and a holistic lifestyle. You will learn many new things that will support your body’s own healing and repair. My goal is to find what works best for your genes, what you do, and what you are most comfortable changing. We are all constantly evolving, so what works for you now will be different for you ten years from now. Health is a dynamic journey and it takes time to get to know how to listen to your body. The best time to start is now.

 

Basic Nutrition Education - I am a big believer in education empowerment and I will always make learning apart of each of my sessions with clients. There is so much information out there about what is good for you and what is bad. I’ll teach you how to weed through the nonsense and help you find the resources that will open your eyes to the many options you have to heal yourself.

 

Grocery Shopping - Eating good food starts with quality ingredients. I will teach you how to navigate the different sections of your favorite grocery store and how to effectively read labels. You’ll learn what chemicals to look out for and techniques that will make each trip to the store more efficient. 

 

Pantry Stocking - If you keep quality ingredients in your home, you will always have something nutritious and satisfying to eat. I will help you set up your kitchen with essential tools and staple pantry, fridge and freezer items. By having an organized system, you will easily be able to avoid foods that are hindering you from your health goals. 

 

Staple Recipes - I can give you a bunch of go-to recipes that you can use as a base for any meal. Sauces, condiments, spice blends, flours, drinks, snacks, and cooked grains, legumes, vegetables and meats. I can show you how to mix and match flavors and customize recipes to your taste. This creates endless meal options with a variety of nutritional benefits.

 

Cooking and Meal Prep -  Let me show you how to properly prepare meals and set yourself up for a successful transition to traditional foods. A lot of people aren’t comfortable in the kitchen and would prefer to spend the least amount of time in the kitchen as possible. If that is you, I can help you use your time wisely so that you can enjoy your day without a lot of cooking and cleaning. 

 

Stress Management -  In most people’s lives, there are a lot of things that constantly stress us out and keep us on edge. Our bodies are capable of handling bursts of stress for short periods of time, but when we are chronically in fight or flight mode, this impairs our ability to rest, digest and recover. Even if you are eating the holiest of nutritious meals, if you are stressed while you eat, you physically can not digest your food properly. I will help you to switch your body to parasympathetic mode so that you can really enjoy your food and gain all the benefits from it. 

 

Sleep Hygiene -  A common complaint people have is that it is hard for them to get to sleep, stay asleep or feel well rested in the morning. This is due to our technological culture and trying to burn the candle at both ends. I will help you find food that will balance hormones for sleep and show you some simple techniques to help you get better quality sleep without completely disconnecting from your social life. 

 

Skin Food -  It is important to monitor the chemicals that end up in your food, but did you know that whatever you put on your skin, ends up in your bloodstream as if you ate it. Have you ever thought about the crazy things you put on your skin or spray into the air to breathe? It’s scary the number of toxic chemicals that are lurking in your bathroom. If you have tried cleaning up your diet and can’t seem to fix your problem, it’s likely that your beauty products could be hindering your progress. I’ll show you safer alternatives and you won’t even miss those expensive bottles of chemical sludge. 

 

Home Cleaning -  The same concept for personal care products applies to what you use to clean your home. Yes, a chemical disinfectant will kill 99.9% of bacteria on your counter surfaces, but they also indiscriminately kill the good bacteria that keeps us healthy. We will find products that are just as effective at cleaning and won’t harm you if you come in contact with them.
